In fact, Christians are assured that God is on their side. So when you meet persecutors, tempters, mockers, and cynics who treat you with cruelty for your belief in Jesus Christ, rejoice and be exceedingly glad, as Jesus said. In ACTS 13:6-11 Barjesus (also Elymas), the evil sorcerer trying to prevent Sergius Paulus, a deputy in Paphos, from hearing the word of God is struck blind by God. Paul, with the power of the Holy Spirit, causes the sorcerer to be blind.
6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-jesus:
7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation), withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul (who is also called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
10 And said, O full of subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. (Holy Bible, King James version)
And what is the result of being outside God’s Word?
Ignorance and darkness in the souls of people; greed, adultery, fornication, lying, unclean spirits, disease, avarice, covetousness, and all manner of obscene lifestyles forbidden by the living God.
Taking part in the bevy of rituals and superstitions (notably, the man made sacraments) as a means of going to heaven, is actual blasphemy. In fact, the adherents to world religions have created special default formulas by which they think they will go to heaven. I already mentioned some of them above.
Living outside God’s word, defying His commandments, and being recruited by the devil is a sure way to eternal damnation. In REVELATION 22: 14-15, we are given a warning regarding the fate of disobedience.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and many enter in through the gates into the city.

I challenge the followers of religious practices to show the evidence about their rituals using the Holy Bible. There is no Biblical evidence, because all the religious rituals and practices are man-made to confuse desperate souls and close them to salvation through Jesus Christ.
