BIBLE warnings: It is not only God’s commandment that THOU SHALT NOT WORSHIP GRAVEN IMAGES, it is reiterated throughout the Holy Bible that to do so is to forsake God in favor of the devil.
God's Second Commandment in Exodus 20:4-6 READS:
4 “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the water under earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the inequity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

**The 2nd commandment according to CATHOLICS:
“Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain,”
Catholics deleted God's Second commandment so that they could include their pagan-based idol worship of graven images. Now that you know the truth, you will never be deceived again by idolaters, but that is not enough. YOU NEED TO GET SAVED NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE FOR YOU. God has prepared a terrible place for idolaters and all false prophets, it is called hell.
Revelation 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The Scriptures clearly state that the deceivers and false prophets (religious/spiritual leaders not based in the Gospel) will NOT inherit God's Kingdom. It doesn't matter how grand they look in their flashy robes, neither does it matter how shiny their golden riches are. All this outward godliness is part of the deception that Satan uses to deceive souls and head them to damnation. The Bible says that the deceivers will have a lot of power, riches, and will perform miracles (aided by Satan, because he has that limited power to do so). However, shame, wailing, and condemnation will meet unbelievers, when their masters are cast into hell forever, as well as they themselves. This is what the Word of God says will become of deceivers:
Revelation 17:18 "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."
The Almighty God is the the richest Father, but only those who believe and live in Jesus Christ without mixture will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Are you going to trust deceitful flesh (Man), instead of God?
Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Do not make a mistake of believing in religions of no-salvation just because your parents introduced you to these religions. No matter what they claim, they don't please God, and they will prevent you from entering the Kingdom of God when you leave your physical body. Your spirit/soul will be prevented from entering Heaven on account of your acceptance of deceptions, when you heard what the Gospel of Jesus Christ taught.

Revelation 22: 18-19
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
The Bible clearly forbids mixing any religious dogmas with the Gospel, because that will make it a false Gospel. God already made His sacrifice for our salvation, which is His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only worthy sacrifice that sanctifies the repentant sinner for salvation. Whatever your religions claim as their sacrifices to God, they are not acceptable; their offerings are blasphemous, because God does not need them. He gave us Jesus as the only mediator between God and man.
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

It does not matter what your religion says: that you can go to heaven by purchasing indulgences; paying church tithe; getting their sacraments, or attending their religious services/mass. You are already in an adulteration, something that God disapproves of because it is a mockery of His free Gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. By refusing to get saved in the only mediator between God and man, you are shutting yourself out of salvation forever. Do not buy into that fictional/fantasy story about your soul going to be purged of sins in purgatory before the prayers and money of your relatives lift you into heaven. The Bible says there are only two places to go after death: Heaven or hell. Apart from Jesus describing hell as a terrible place of torment, wailing, and gnashing of teeth for the unbelievers and unrepentant sinners, , Jesus also TELLS us through the Parable of Lazarus and the rich man, that there is only Heaven and hell, separated by "a great gulf fixed."
Luke 16:19-31
'And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
'And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
'And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
'And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
'And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
'But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivest thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Recently, while witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to one religious adherent, she informed me that I was wasting my time, because she was firmly rooted into the religion that the Bible indicates is of no salvation. This was the reply: "Of course and I will never stop. They are hypocrites in your eyes but not mine."
This is a common response from souls shackled by deceptive religions and man's dogmas. Their eyes are so blind, their hearts so hardened, that they fail to separate the message of Christ which Gospel bearers deliver; to them, it is not about what God says, it is a matter of personal interpretation.
This spiritual death is illustrated in 1 Timothy 4:2 "Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron."
Yes, the religions personally interpret, define, and make God, based on their own understanding. They will hang a graven mockery of Him on the cross, they will define him as food (yet God is a Holy Spirit); they will "sacrifice" him daily, YET Christ became a sacrifice once and for all, and assured His believers that He would never again drink again of the sacrifice but in His Father's Kingdom.
Matthew 26:29 "But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom." (Words of Jesus Christ)
Religions defy Christ's teaching; through their man-made rituals, dogmas and councils, they mock the very Word of God, as bequeathed to us in the Holy Bible. They are self-professed spiritual rebels. This is despite what the Bible, the Word of God, says. So when a non-believer challenged my mission of Gospel Witnessing, which was mandated by Christ at Galilee, before His ascent into Heaven, all I could do was pray for this unbeliever. Born-again prayer warriors always pray for these fortresses of Satan to be broken for salvation. And the good news is that believers of Jesus Christ have the ability to love and pray for their enemies, their strength comes from God the Almighty, not from the deceptive religions. And God is on the side of believers, so we break Satanic strongholds in Jesus' name. Unbelievers beware, every child of God has been given a promise of victory over Satan. Amen.

In ACTS: 17: 16-31, Apostle Paul condemns idolatry while preaching the Gospel in Athens, where the people were completely taken up by idolatry. He stood at Mars’ Hill, and preached against the worship of graven images.
ACTS: 17: 16: Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

So what is the fate of the devil worshiping idolaters?
The Bible does not mince words about the certain punishment for the idolaters.
REVELATION 14: 9-11

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

GOD'S WRATH WILL DEVOUR IDOLATERS/GRAVEN IMAGE WORSHIPERS:

Personal Testimony: While growing up, it was mandatory to pray the rosary [prayer beads--note this is an ancient pagan practice], dedicating prayers through the fictional “virgin Mary”, for supposed intercession to God as a means of attaining salvation! What the Catholics call “Blessed Virgin Mary”, complete with powers to decide a soul’s fate, is against the teaching of Jesus Christ in the Bible. The ‘devotion’ to Mary is taken a step further, and the blasphemous devotees even describe her as “Mother of God”. This means that Mary has become the Godhead, mothered God the creator of heaven and earth, Jesus, and everybody in heaven and earth.

In fact, I remember the song we were taught to sing as young kids at school, which described Mary as the “mother of God”
